I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were superb, and the comfortable bed provided me with a great night's sleep. The hotel's centralised location was perfect, as it was within walking distance of Edinburgh Waverley station and not far from the centre of this city. I was able to easily explore the city's sights without any hassle. The complimentary breakfast had a wide variety of options, catering to every need. I was thoroughly impressed and have already booked my next stay for December.
Nothing, all excellent.

Ideal location, public parking. We liked our coffee with goodies at Cafe Truva. Camera obscura world of illusions was in close proximity to the hotel.
All was good.

We found it warm and comfortable, and thought the standard of meal menus was particularly high. Some very helpful waiting staff in the dining room.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of all the major attractions, such as the castle, shops, and the main Princes Street area. the rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. the service is satisfactory, with attentive and pleasant staff. the breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options, and the view from the rooms is pleasant, overlooking the city skyline.
The evening meal menu could be more exciting, as it was found to be a bit bland by some guests.

During our Christmas stay, we enjoyed the convenient location of the hotel, with a supermarket nearby, and easy access to main tourist attractions. the room was comfortable and clean, with a good shower.
We found the breakfast options limited and lacking freshness, with food often left under heat lamps. the bed was not very comfortable, leading to some back pain.

Comfortable room.
Hotel would not let us check-in until nearly 3pm stating that 'they had been full the night before'. Although they let others check-in while we were waiting. I thought this was extremely bad customer service since the hotel room should have been available from 2pm as both Booked.net and premier inn's websites both state. The worst part was they didn't offer us anything at all for the inconvenience - even after we had been travelling for 6 hours on the promise of a room at 2pm, so that we could rest. I would stay in a Premier Inn again but almost certainly not this one as other members of our wedding party were also inconvenienced by the hotel.
